High/Secondary School

After completing high school education (secondary education), successful students proceed to obtain high school diplomas which gives them eligibility to gain admission into any community college or university. International students applying for undergraduate courses in USA should have an equivalent grade of the diplomas (completion of secondary school education).

The two types of degrees offered are as follows:

( a ) Associate Degree:

An Associate Degree is two years’ duration. The programme is mostly offered by Community, Vocational and Junior Colleges. Completion of this programme enables students to seek credit transfer (prior learning recognition) into the third year of the four-year Bachelor’s degree at University level.

( b ) Bachelor’s Degree:

Hundreds of ‘majors’ (or specializations) in all the fields are offered at the Bachelor’s level, which makes education an attractive option for students all over the world.
